Avoid too many that's, which's, and who's: Cut out "that is" and "that are" (and "who is" and "who are")

A sentence or paragraph can have too many that's, as adjectives, conjunctions, relative pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, and other parts of speech. A sentence can also have too many which's and who's. Here are some common solutions.

Cars that are sold after January will not have a six-month warranty.
CHANGE TO
Cars sold after January will not have a six-month warranty.
People who are living in glass houses should draw the blinds.
CHANGE TO
People living in glass houses should draw the blinds.
